Spanish television is split across free-to-air TDT channels, Movistar+ for premium sport and film, DAZN for football, and a growing list of streaming apps. IPTV brings all of it, plus regional channels and international broadcasters, into a single subscription that works on any device. This guide explains what Spanish viewers, and Spanish speakers abroad, get with WorldIPTV in 2026.

How IPTV works in Spain

IPTV delivers live television over your internet connection instead of a TDT aerial or satellite dish. A player app logs in to the service using Xtream Codes or an M3U playlist, then streams the channel you choose. Movistar, Orange and Vodafone already deliver their own TV products this way; the difference with WorldIPTV is that one subscription covers the Spanish line-up together with 60+ other countries.

For Spanish households this means:

  • All national TDT channels: La 1, La 2, Antena 3, Cuatro, Telecinco, laSexta, plus their thematic channels.
  • The autonomous community channels: TV3, Canal Sur, Telemadrid, ETB, TVG, À Punt, Aragón TV and more.
  • Premium sport and film channels normally found on Movistar+, plus international broadcasters for LaLiga, the Champions League and Formula 1.
  • Latin American channels for the large Colombian, Ecuadorian, Venezuelan, Argentine and Peruvian communities in Spain.

WorldIPTV has run since 2019 with 20,000+ live channels, 80,000+ films and series on demand, 7-day catch-up on major channels and an EPG in Spanish local time. The live line-up and prices are on the Spain country page.

WorldIPTV supports Xtream Codes API and M3U, so the choice of app is wide. The most common setups among Spanish subscribers:

Our Samsung and LG smart TV guide explains the smart TV route in detail if you would rather not add a stick.

Setting up IPTV in Spain in five steps

  1. Order a plan or request the free trial. Trial credentials arrive instantly by email; paid orders activate in 5-15 minutes.
  2. Install a player app on your device following the guide above.
  3. Enter your login. Choose "Xtream Codes API" and type the server URL, username and password. If your app needs M3U, use the link from the playlists page.
  4. Set the time zone to Europe/Madrid (or Atlantic/Canary in the Canaries) so the EPG shows the right times.
  5. Create favourites. Add La 1, Antena 3, Telecinco, laSexta, your regional channel and the Movistar sport channels to a favourites group.

Internet speed and stability

Spain has excellent fibre coverage, which makes IPTV straightforward. Requirements:

  • 10 Mbps sustained per HD stream.
  • 25 Mbps sustained per 4K stream.
  • Add the figures for simultaneous screens.

Any 100, 300 or 600 Mbps fibre line handles 4K and multiple screens with room to spare. If you are on 4G/5G home broadband, HD streams are the safer choice. Connect the TV by Ethernet or use 5 GHz Wi-Fi. WorldIPTV uses anti-freeze technology on servers in the EU and North America with a 99.9% uptime target, and publishes service health on the status page.

IPTV is a legitimate technology used by Spain's own telecom operators. WorldIPTV distributes content under its own service terms, and subscribers are responsible for complying with local laws; our legality guide has more context.

Support is available 24/7 by live chat, WhatsApp and email, in Spanish as well as English, French, German and Italian.

FAQ

Which Spanish channels does IPTV include?
All national TDT channels (La 1, La 2, Antena 3, Cuatro, Telecinco, laSexta and their thematic channels), the main autonomous community channels such as TV3, Canal Sur and Telemadrid, Movistar sport and film channels, and Latin American broadcasters. The full list is on the Spain country page.
Can I watch regional channels like TV3 or Canal Sur from another region?
Yes. Regional channels are delivered over the internet, so you can watch TV3 from Andalusia or Canal Sur from Catalonia, and Spaniards living abroad can watch their home region's channel too.
How much does IPTV cost in Spain?
WorldIPTV plans cost €11 for one month, €23 for three, €32 for six and €60 for twelve months. Additional connections cost 40% (two screens) or 75% (three screens) more.
Does IPTV work on Spanish fibre and mobile broadband?
Yes. Any fibre line is more than enough for 4K on several screens. On 4G/5G home broadband, use HD streams and a 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection or Ethernet for the most stable picture.
Is there customer support in Spanish?
Yes. Spanish is one of the five support languages, and the team is available 24/7 via live chat, WhatsApp and email.
