How to watch NFL without cable in 2026 comes down to the window, not a single channel. Sunday afternoon games sit with CBS and FOX. Sunday Night Football is NBC, streamed on Peacock. Monday Night Football is ESPN, with ABC on selected nights. Thursday Night Football is a Prime Video exclusive. Holiday games move: Netflix has a Thanksgiving Eve game and two Christmas Day games, and YouTube sells NFL Sunday Ticket for out-of-market Sunday afternoon games.

This page is a window map for viewers in the United States. It is not a team-by-team schedule, and it is not a claim that one subscription carries every kickoff. Distributor prices change by offer, so they are not quoted here. WorldIPTV plan prices in USD are on the pricing page.

The 2026 windows at a glance

The NFL's May 14, 2026 schedule release set an 18-week, 272-game regular season. These are the national homes that release named. Times are Eastern.

WindowTypical slotOfficial home
Sunday afternoon1:00 p.m., then 4:05 or 4:25 p.m.CBS and FOX, split by market
Sunday Night Football8:20 p.m., Weeks 1–17NBC, also on Peacock

Thursday Night Football8:15 p.m., Weeks 2–17 except ThanksgivingPrime Video, national exclusive
Out-of-market Sunday afternoonSame Sunday slate, outside your marketNFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube and YouTube TV

A market does not receive every Sunday game. CBS and FOX each show the game assigned to your local stations. The long-running pattern is CBS for much of the AFC package and FOX for much of the NFC package, and the league cross-flexes individual games. In Week 1, Green Bay at Minnesota, an NFC North game, was on CBS at 4:25 p.m.

During the 2026 season, listings also place CBS Sunday games on Paramount+ and FOX Sunday games on FOX One. Those apps apply their own market rules. Confirm the ZIP inside the app before you pay.

Flexible scheduling can still move a Sunday afternoon game to Sunday night. NBC says that flex can be used up to twice from Weeks 5–10, and at the league's discretion in Weeks 11–17. Read the listing the week of the game.

Sunday Night Football: NBC and Peacock

NBC carries one Sunday Night Football game in each of Weeks 1–17, at 8:20 p.m. ET on the published slate. Week 1 was Dallas at the New York Giants on September 13.

NBCUniversal's May 18, 2026 note says Peacock streams every NBC NFL game, including the playoffs and Football Night in America. Authenticated streams on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app are a separate path for people who already have an NBC login through a TV provider.

The same note gives NBC the Thanksgiving night game and a Week 17 Saturday game at 4:30 p.m. ET on January 2, 2027. Peacock is the exclusive national home of a second Week 17 game that night, chosen from a pool of four. NBC stations in the two competing team cities also carry that Peacock game. The Sunday night game in Week 17, Philadelphia at San Francisco on January 3, stays on NBC.

Monday Night Football: ESPN and ABC

The May release says ESPN televises one Monday Night Football game in each of Weeks 1–17. There is no Monday game in Week 18, so the league can set the wild-card weekend.

ABC is a simulcast on selected Mondays, not an automatic second home every week. Week 1, Denver at Kansas City on September 14, was listed as ESPN/ABC at 8:15 p.m. Later Mondays are announced as ESPN, or as ESPN and ABC, one week at a time. Check that label before you assume the local ABC station has the game.

Thursday Night Football: Prime Video

Thursday Night Football airs exclusively on Prime Video for 15 games from Weeks 2–17, skipping Thanksgiving night. The package opened in Week 2 with Buffalo hosting Detroit at 8:15 p.m. ET.

That national exclusive is the point people miss when they search how to watch NFL without cable. A live-TV bundle that includes CBS, FOX, NBC, and ESPN still does not include the Thursday night national game. Prime Video does. The league also assigned Prime Video the Black Friday game: Denver at Pittsburgh on November 27 at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Holiday windows, including Netflix

The May 14 release names these holiday games. Matchups and kickoff times below are from that release.

Thu, Nov. 26Chicago at Detroit1:00 p.m.CBS

Fri, Nov. 27Denver at Pittsburgh3:00 p.m.Prime Video

Netflix's other 2026 assignment in that release is the first regular-season game in Australia: the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday, September 10, at 8:35 p.m. ET. That kickoff has already been played.

Week 18 still has open slots. The NFL.com schedule page currently lists three Saturday games on January 9, 2027: 1:00 p.m. on Netflix, then 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on ESPN/ABC. The same page says the specific Week 18 dates, start times, and networks are set after Week 17, so treat those Saturday labels as the current plan. The rest of that weekend falls on Sunday, January 10, at 1:00 p.m., 4:25 p.m., and 8:20 p.m. There is no Monday night game that weekend.

The same schedule note puts two Week 16 Saturday games on NFL Network, at 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. ET, with the matchups chosen after Week 14. Christmas Day itself remains the Friday Netflix pair above, not those Saturday slots.

NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube and YouTube TV

NFL Sunday Ticket is the out-of-market package for regular-season Sunday afternoon games. YouTube's help pages describe it as the Sunday afternoon (Eastern Time) CBS and FOX games that are not carried on the local broadcast in your area. A Cowboys fan in Miami can watch the Sunday Cowboys games that Miami's CBS and FOX stations are not showing.

Two ways to buy it in the US:

  • As an add-on to an active YouTube TV plan. The base plan is what carries the local and national channels in that plan; Sunday Ticket adds the out-of-market Sunday afternoon games.
  • As a Primetime Channel on YouTube, without YouTube TV. That option does not include the games your local CBS and FOX stations are already showing.

Sunday Ticket does not replace the other windows. Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and the digital-only holiday games stay with Prime Video, NBC/Peacock, ESPN/ABC, and Netflix. YouTube also says the package excludes digital-only games, follows location rules, and is sold for homes rather than commercial venues. The dollar price is YouTube's, and it changes by offer, so read the current checkout rather than a screenshot from last season.

If you only need the game your city is showing, start with the local station. The local-channel guide walks through call letters, the DMA, and an antenna or a live-TV app. Sunday Ticket is the wrong product for a game already on your affiliate.

Early international games and the late season

Nine international games are on the 2026 schedule. Several Sunday morning kickoffs are at 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network. The May release assigns five of the nine exclusively to NFL Network, and names the exceptions in the same note: Melbourne on Netflix, Rio de Janeiro on CBS, Munich on FOX, and Mexico City on NBC's Sunday night window (Minnesota vs. San Francisco, November 22, 8:20 p.m. ET).

The postseason is national, not a regional Sunday split. Wild Card weekend starts Saturday, January 16, 2027. Divisional games are January 23–24. The conference championships are Sunday, January 31. Super Bowl LXI is Sunday, February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. The May release names ESPN. The Los Angeles host committee, on February 9, 2026, says the broadcast is ESPN and ABC. Kickoff time was not in the May release.

The league also says every regular-season and postseason game is carried on over-the-air television in the local markets involved, and that NFL+ streams live and local primetime games on mobile devices. NFL+ is a phone and tablet product in that description. It is not the living-room home of Thursday night or of the Netflix games.

On a Fire TV Stick

A Fire TV Stick has no antenna input, so it cannot tune the local CBS, FOX, NBC, or ABC station. Each window still has an app, installed from the Amazon app store:

  • Peacock for NBC games, including Sunday Night Football
  • Prime Video for Thursday Night Football and the Black Friday game
  • Netflix for the games the league assigned to Netflix
  • YouTube or the YouTube TV app for Sunday Ticket, depending on which product you bought
  • The ESPN app for Monday Night Football, and the ABC app when that night is also on ABC

The Fire TV install guide covers player setup on that stick. Setup does not add a window the distributor has not cleared for your account. A television with its own tuner can take an antenna for the stations the FCC map shows at your address; the stick cannot.

What this map does not promise

Stacking Peacock, Prime Video, Netflix, ESPN, and Sunday Ticket is how the rights are actually split. No single row in the tables above is the whole season.

This article does not say an IPTV lineup includes those games, replaces Sunday Ticket, or removes a local restriction. Subscribers are responsible for complying with local laws. WorldIPTV distributes content under its own service terms. The country-by-country overview is general information, not legal advice.

The USA page and the IPTV USA guide describe the broader US catalog and device setup. Use them after you know which window you need. A 24-hour trial is a way to inspect that catalog on your own TV. FAQ

How do I watch NFL games without cable in 2026?
Match the window. Sunday afternoon is CBS and FOX in your market, Sunday night is NBC and Peacock, Monday night is ESPN with ABC on selected nights, and Thursday night is Prime Video. Out-of-market Sunday afternoon games are NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube or YouTube TV. Netflix has the Thanksgiving Eve game and two Christmas Day games named in the May 2026 schedule release.
Does NFL Sunday Ticket include Thursday, Sunday, and Monday night?
No. YouTube describes Sunday Ticket as out-of-market Sunday afternoon regular-season games on CBS and FOX. Primetime and the digital-only holiday games stay with their own distributors. Sunday Ticket also does not include the Sunday games your local CBS or FOX station is already showing.
Where is Thursday Night Football in 2026?
Prime Video has the national exclusive for 15 games from Weeks 2–17, except Thanksgiving night. Prime Video also has the Black Friday game, Denver at Pittsburgh, on November 27 at 3:00 p.m. ET.
Which 2026 holiday games are on Netflix?
The May 14, 2026 release puts Green Bay at the Los Angeles Rams on Netflix on Wednesday, November 25, at 8:00 p.m. ET, and two Christmas Day games on Friday, December 25: Green Bay at Chicago at 1:00 p.m. ET and Buffalo at Denver at 4:30 p.m. ET. Thanksgiving Day itself is CBS, FOX, and NBC. The league schedule page also lists a Week 18 Saturday game at 1:00 p.m. ET on Netflix, with the matchup chosen later.
Can I watch the NFL on a Fire TV Stick?
Yes, through the distributor's app for that window: Peacock, Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube or YouTube TV, and ESPN. The stick has no antenna port, so it does not receive the over-the-air station directly. Use the Fire TV install guide for the player, then sign in to the app that holds the game.
