UEFA’s 2026/27 calendar places league-phase matchday 3 on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 October 2026. The match centre, read on 5 October 2026, lists 18 upcoming ties and only two UTC kick-off times: 16:45 and 19:00. This page turns that card into a living-room plan for a Fire TV Stick, a Smart TV, or a phone.

Matchday 2 is the earlier October window, 13/14 October, on the same UEFA calendar. This note starts at matchday 3 so you can set alarms for the following Tuesday and Wednesday.

When did UEFA publish matchday 3?

UEFA’s article “2026/27 Champions League: Teams, dates, draws, format, final” on uefa.com (10 September 2026) lists the league-phase windows as follows. The article says dates are subject to change.

MatchdayDates on uefa.com
18–10 September 2026
213/14 October 2026
320/21 October 2026
43/4 November 2026
524/25 November 2026
68/9 December 2026
719/20 January 2027
827 January 2027

The same article places the final at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid on Saturday 5 June 2027, and describes 2026/27 as the third season under the league-phase format. The club list on that page is marked provisional.

What are the kick-off times in UTC?

UEFA’s match centre data (match.uefa.com, competition id 1, season year 2027) was read on 5 October 2026. It returned 18 league-phase matches tagged Matchday 3, each with status upcoming. Every kickOffTime.dateTime ends in Z, which means UTC.

To convert, add the UTC offset your clock is using that week. The feed also stores a stadium offset on each match:

  • Offset +1 (the Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Porto and Sporting CP stadiums on this card): 16:45 UTC is 17:45 locally, and 19:00 UTC is 20:00 locally.
  • Offset +2 (the other stadiums in western and central Europe on this card): 16:45 UTC is 18:45 locally, and 19:00 UTC is 21:00 locally.
  • Offset +3 at Fenerbahçe: 16:45 UTC is 19:45 locally.
  • Offset +4 at Sabah: 16:45 UTC is 20:45 locally.

Article 25 of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League regulations (documents.uefa.com) says league-phase matches kick off in principle at 21:00 CET, with two Tuesday matches and two Wednesday matches at 18:45 CET, and that the UEFA administration can make exceptions. The match-by-match UTC stamps above are the ones to put in a calendar. If a headline says “CET” and your TV is set to UTC, trust the Z time and add your own offset.

The two early Tuesday ties are easy to miss if you only watch for a 19:00 UTC alarm. Fenerbahçe–Slavia Praha and Sabah–Borussia Dortmund are already under way an hour and a quarter before Liverpool–Villarreal and Paris Saint-Germain–Barcelona.

Which ties are the ones to put in a calendar first?

The table is the full card. If you only want a few alarms, these are single published kick-offs that pair widely followed clubs, so one conversion covers the evening:

  1. Paris Saint-Germain vs FC Barcelona — Tuesday 20 October, 19:00 UTC, Parc des Princes. On a UTC+2 clock that is 21:00.
  2. Liverpool FC vs Villarreal CF — the same Tuesday stamp, 19:00 UTC, Anfield. On a UTC+1 clock that is 20:00. Manchester City vs AEK Athens FC shares that stamp.
  3. Como 1907 vs Manchester United — Wednesday 21 October, 16:45 UTC, Giuseppe Sinigaglia. On a UTC+2 clock that is 18:45. LOSC Lille vs Galatasaray shares that earlier stamp.
  4. FC Bayern München vs Arsenal FC — Wednesday 21 October, 19:00 UTC, Fußball Arena München. On a UTC+2 clock that is 21:00.
  5. Real Madrid C.F. vs RB Leipzig — the same Wednesday stamp, 19:00 UTC, Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.

Aston Villa vs Viking FK is the Wednesday 19:00 UTC tie on a UTC+1 clock (20:00 at Villa Park), alongside Sporting CP vs LASK in Lisbon.

How does the league phase work on this matchday?

Article 17 of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League regulations (documents.uefa.com) is the format reminder worth keeping next to the card:

  • All 36 clubs sit in one league ranking.
  • Each club plays eight opponents in single-leg ties: four at home and four away.
  • A win is 3 points, a draw is 1, a loss is 0.
  • Places 1 to 8 go to the round of 16.
  • Places 9 to 24 go to the knockout phase play-offs.
  • Places 25 to 36 are eliminated.

Matchday 3 is one of those eight single-leg rounds. The live ranking moves after every matchday, so the current order stays on UEFA’s own standings.

Knockout dates on the 10 September 2026 uefa.com article, also marked subject to change: play-offs 16/17 and 23/24 February 2027, round of 16 on 9/10 and 16/17 March 2027, quarter-finals 6/7 and 13/14 April 2027, semi-finals 27/28 April and 4/5 May 2027, final 5 June 2027.

How do you follow the card on Firestick, Smart TV or a phone?

Set the programme guide to the city where the screen sits, then check one row against the UTC column before the 16:45 window. A guide left on UTC will look early next to a UTC+1 or UTC+2 clock.

Fire TV Stick. The steps live on the Firestick install guide. That guide’s planning figures are at least 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K, measured on the stick, on Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Open the player on Tuesday afternoon, before Fenerbahçe–Slavia Praha at 16:45 UTC. App choice is covered in best IPTV apps for Firestick. If the picture stalls after the stream has started, use fix IPTV buffering on Firestick.

Smart TV. Samsung, LG and the other sets in the Smart TV install guide use the store on the television. A longer app comparison is in IPTV on Samsung and LG. Use the set’s Ethernet port when it has one, and leave the guide timezone on the city named in the television’s own settings.

Phone. iPhone and iPad setup is on iOS, with app notes in best IPTV apps for iPhone and iPad. Android phones are on Android. Run the first picture check on home Wi-Fi. If you move to another city, change the guide city so the row matches the offset you are adding to UTC.

If you already have a WorldIPTV login, open the sports group and line a row up with the UTC time in the table. Screen count and plan length are on compare and pricing. A 24-hour trial, if you still want to judge your own line, is on the free trial page. The football checklist is IPTV football. Country hubs for the market pages: United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain and Italy.

Licensed coverage in your country stays on that broadcaster’s own listing. Use this page for the UEFA dates, the UTC stamps, and the device check.
