Complete IPTV UK guide for 2026: BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky Sports and TNT Sports channels, Premier League coverage, GBP pricing, TV licence note and setup.

Editorial policy and corrections

British television is split three ways in 2026: Freeview, a Sky or Virgin subscription for the pay channels, and a rotating set of streaming apps for whatever Sky does not carry. A full weekend of Premier League football means Sky Sports, TNT Sports and often a third app, at a combined cost that rivals a car payment. IPTV puts the whole lot into one programme guide on the device you already own. This guide sets out what UK viewers get from WorldIPTV, what it costs in pounds, and how to install it.

How to choose an IPTV service in the UK

WorldIPTV sells IPTV. This is not an independent ranking, and it is not a table of providers. The commercial UK page stays IPTV UK. Use the checklist below to decide whether any IPTV login, including ours, fits the way you watch. It is not legal advice. A wider note on legality, with no separate UK legal URL, is in the country-by-country guide.

The official pages linked further down were read on 2 October 2026. A point taken from one of those pages is marked Confirmed. A conclusion we draw, which that page does not state in those words, is marked Our reading. A limit this guide cannot settle is marked Unconfirmed. Where we have no measurement, including audience and reliability figures, we write not measured.

Checklist (2 October 2026)

Run these six checks on your own line before you pay.

  1. UK channel grid, as a watchability test. During a trial, open BBC One, ITV1 and Channel 4 at an hour you actually watch. You are checking the picture, whether the guide names the right programme, and how quickly you can find the channel. That test is not a claim that the provider holds those broadcasters' rights. Our reading: a clean result on these three channels does not prove the rest of the grid.

  2. Trial on your own broadband, at your hours. Use the connection and the device you will really watch on, at the time you usually watch: an evening, a weekend afternoon, or whenever you sit down. A midday test on someone else's Wi-Fi is a different network. Picture quality and guide load on your line are not measured until you have run that trial. WorldIPTV's trial is requested from the free trial page. The same check applies to any provider you test.

  3. The device you already own. A login is no use if the television cannot run a player. Match the model, not only the brand, to the notes for Fire TV, Android, smart TVs, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV and Windows and macOS. On an iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, install from the App Store. On an Android phone, and on many smart TVs, use Google Play or the store that shipped with the set. Our reading: a device that is missing from those notes is not automatically incompatible. Ask support before you pay.

  4. Renewal and support, in English, in writing. Before you pay, read how long the plan lasts and how renewal works in the terms. Ask support one plain question in English, for example your television model or a channel that failed, and keep the reply. How quickly anyone answers is not measured. Unconfirmed: this checklist does not score support.

  5. IPTV here means linear television. It is a schedule of channels, with programmes at a set time, plus whatever catch-up that provider actually offers when you look. It does not replace Netflix, Disney+ or Prime Video. If you want those on-demand libraries, use the official service. What each of them charges: confirm on that service's own site. We have not copied those amounts here.

  6. Compare official options first, when they already cover the need. The services below are comparison criteria. They are not WorldIPTV offers. If one of them already gives you the programmes, on a device you own, you may not need a separate IPTV subscription. Our reading: that is a buying decision, not a ranking.

Freely. Confirmed, from the Freely homepage read on 2 October 2026: Freely presents live and on-demand TV in one place, free, over Wi-Fi, with no dish and no aerial.

https://www.freely.co.uk/

BBC iPlayer. The BBC's own service. Confirmed, from the TV Licensing explainer the same day: watching or downloading BBC programmes on iPlayer needs a TV Licence. Details are in the licence note below.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer

ITVX. Confirmed, from ITV's help page read on 2 October 2026 (the page itself says it was modified on 14 October 2025): live TV is available on ITV's website, the ITVX app and some connected televisions, including ITV1, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and ITVBe.

https://help.itv.com/support/solutions/articles/204000073856-how-do-i-watch-live-tv-on-itvx-

Channel 4. Confirmed: on 2 October 2026 the official homepage title presented Channel 4 as a place to stream and watch live TV. The page body retrieved that day was too thin to describe a catalogue, so the catalogue is not measured here.

https://www.channel4.com/

NOW. Confirmed: on 2 October 2026 the official homepage title presented NOW as a place to watch TV, films and live sport online. NOW is a separate streaming product. Pricing: confirm on NOW's site.

https://www.nowtv.com/

Sky Glass. Confirmed: on 2 October 2026 Sky's page described Sky Glass as its range of 4K smart TVs with Sky built in. It is a Sky television, not a WorldIPTV product. Pricing: confirm on Sky's site.

https://www.sky.com/glass

Virgin Media. Confirmed: on 2 October 2026 Virgin Media's TV page returned as its television packages page. What is included changes. Confirm the current package on that page. Pricing: confirm there, not in this checklist.

https://www.virginmedia.com/tv

Live sport rights in the UK are split across official broadcasters, including Sky and TNT Sports, and the split depends on the competition and the season. If a named competition is why you are looking, check the official holder for that season and use that service when it covers you. Anyone who subscribes to a television service must comply with UK law. Unconfirmed: nothing in this section establishes that WorldIPTV holds those rights.

This checklist does not publish star ratings or review scores. Amounts to pay are not listed here. Confirm pricing on the UK page or with support before you pay.

What UK viewers get with IPTV in 2026

WorldIPTV has been running since 2019 and carries live channels across 60+ countries, with films and series on demand. The UK package is organised the way the Sky guide is, so the channel numbers you know are grouped the way you expect.

KidsCBBC, CBeebies, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, Disney Channel

Channels are in FHD, with 4K for major sport where the source provides it; catch-up covers the previous 7 days on the main channels, and the EPG is complete for the UK.

Premier League and UK sport on IPTV

Premier League coverage is split between Sky Sports and TNT Sports, with further games on Amazon in some seasons. On WorldIPTV the relevant channels sit next to each other, so the Saturday 12:30 kick-off on TNT and the Super Sunday fixture on Sky are two clicks apart.

  • Premier League: Sky Sports Premier League and Main Event, TNT Sports 1-4, plus international feeds for the 3 p.m. Saturday fixtures that are not broadcast domestically.
  • Champions League and Europa League: TNT Sports.
  • EFL and Scottish football: Sky Sports Football, Premier Sports.
  • Cricket: Sky Sports Cricket for Tests, the Hundred and international tours.
  • Rugby: Six Nations on BBC and ITV, Premiership on TNT Sports.

Subscribers are responsible for complying with local laws; WorldIPTV distributes content under its own service terms.

A note on the TV licence

Confirmed, from the TV Licensing explainer read on 2 October 2026. You need a TV Licence to watch or record live TV on any channel, and to watch or download BBC programmes on BBC iPlayer, including catch-up and on demand. TV Licensing states that this covers live TV on streaming services and that the device does not matter. That duty does not depend on the delivery method. The fee amounts are published on the explainer; this guide does not copy them. This note is not legal advice.

https://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/check-if-you-need-one

Our reading: a household watching a live channel through an IPTV app is in the same position as one watching through an aerial, a satellite box or a broadcaster's own app. The wider country-by-country note is in the legality guide.

IPTV prices in the UK (GBP)

Figures below may change. Confirm them on the UK page or with support before you pay.

Prices on the UK page are shown in pounds. There is no 18-month contract, no set-top box rental and no price rise halfway through.

PlanPricePer month
1 month£9.50£9.50
3 months£20£6.67
6 months£28£4.67
12 months£52£4.33

One connection is included; a second simultaneous stream adds 40% and a third adds 75%. All plans carry a 7-day money-back guarantee, and the 24-hour free trial needs no card. For comparison, a Sky package with Sky Sports, TNT Sports and Sky Cinema commonly costs £90-120 a month once the introductory period ends.

Devices that work with IPTV in the UK

WorldIPTV supplies an Xtream Codes login and an M3U playlist, so it works on almost any device sold in the UK:

Recommended apps are TiviMate and IPTV Smarters Pro on Android and Fire TV, and IBO Player or Smart IPTV on Samsung and LG.

How to set up IPTV in the UK

  1. Request the free trial or choose a plan on the pricing page. Trial credentials arrive by email instantly; paid plans activate within 5-15 minutes of order confirmation.
  2. Install a player app. On Fire TV, sideload TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro through the Downloader app; on Samsung or LG, install IBO Player from the TV's app store.
  3. Open the app, select "Xtream Codes API" and enter the server URL, username and password. If the app only takes a playlist URL, use the M3U link from the playlists page.
  4. Wait for the channel list and EPG to load, then open the "UK" group and set your favourites.
  5. Check bandwidth: 10 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K. Use Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi; a Fire TV Stick on crowded 2.4 GHz is the most common cause of buffering.

If a channel stutters, the status page shows live server health and the buffering guide lists the usual fixes.

Support and reliability

Support is available 24/7 by live chat, WhatsApp and email. Live service status is published on the status page. If you are a Briton living abroad, see Watch UK TV abroad with IPTV.

FAQ

Does IPTV in the UK include Sky Sports and TNT Sports?
Yes. The UK package carries the full Sky Sports range, including Main Event, Premier League, Football, Cricket and F1, plus TNT Sports 1-4 and Eurosport. Subscribers are responsible for complying with local laws; WorldIPTV distributes content under its own service terms.
Do I still need a TV licence to watch BBC through IPTV?
Yes. Confirmed, from TV Licensing on 2 October 2026: live TV on any channel, and BBC iPlayer (live, catch-up or on demand), need a TV Licence. That duty does not depend on the delivery method or the device. IPTV does not remove it. Read the explainer at https://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/check-if-you-need-one. The same page explains when on-demand viewing on other services is a separate case. The fee amounts are on that page; they are not repeated here.
Which device is best for IPTV in the UK?
A Fire TV Stick 4K is the best value for most households and runs TiviMate and IPTV Smarters Pro. If you already own a Samsung or LG Smart TV, you need no extra hardware; install IBO Player from the TV's app store and log in.
How much does IPTV cost in the UK?
Plans start at £9.50 for one month and fall to £4.33 a month on the 12-month plan at £52. There are no contracts or equipment fees, a 24-hour free trial with no card, and a 7-day money-back guarantee on every plan.
How do I judge an IPTV provider without star ratings?
Use the checklist dated 2 October 2026, above. Run a trial on your own broadband at the hours you watch. Treat BBC One, ITV1 and Channel 4 as a picture-and-guide test, not as a rights claim. Check the device you already own, and keep a written reply in English about renewal and support. This page does not publish star ratings or review scores. Reliability on your line is not measured until you test it. If you still want WorldIPTV, the offer is on IPTV UK.
Should I compare Freely and NOW before I buy IPTV?
Yes, when an official service already shows what you want. Compare Freely, BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4, NOW, Sky Glass and Virgin Media first. They are official routes, not WorldIPTV products. IPTV is linear television and does not replace Netflix, Disney+ or Prime Video. Pricing: confirm on each official site, or on the UK page if you are asking about WorldIPTV. Subscribers must comply with UK law. The legality guide is the wider note.
