Which large TV fits your setup?

85 vs 97, 98 or 100 inches

Diagonal size is not chassis width. The selected Samsung is 188.06 cm wide; LG 215.5 cm, TCL 216.6 cm and Hisense 222.8 cm. Measure the space, delivery route, stand depth and mounting capacity. Try your own viewing distance with films, subtitles and sport.

OLED vs Mini LED vs RGB Mini LED

OLED controls light at each self-emissive pixel. TCL’s SQD-Mini LED uses an LCD panel, quantum dots and LED backlighting. Hisense RGB MiniLED and Samsung Micro RGB use RGB backlights behind an LCD panel. Compare reflections, dark scenes and viewing angles on the exact model; marketing brightness figures alone do not establish a winner.

A large TV for IPTV and streaming

Google TV, webOS, Tizen and VIDAA have different app catalogues. Check the official player listing for your device and country. An external Android TV box connected by HDMI can provide a different app environment. The screen does not include a channel subscription, and 4K quality depends on the source, player and connection.

Four exact models, four regional references.

Hisense: France. LG: Canada. Samsung: United Kingdom. TCL: Australia. Compare the local model number, tuner, power supply, app store and warranty before purchasing. A family name alone does not establish identical hardware.

Questions about very large TVs

Does the 97-inch LG G6 support 165 Hz?

The Canadian OLED97G6WUA specification lists native 120 Hz and VRR up to 120 Hz. Do not apply the 165 Hz specifications of smaller G6 sizes to this 97-inch reference.

Is Micro RGB the same as MicroLED?

No. The R95H uses RGB backlighting for an LCD panel. A self-emissive MicroLED display produces light at its pixels. Similar names do not describe the same display architecture.

Does 288 Hz mean 4K at 288 Hz?

Not automatically. TCL documents native 144 Hz and a 4K 144 Hz signal path for C8L, with a separate 288 Hz Game Accelerator mode. Check resolution and input-mode restrictions in the exact model’s documentation.

Can every Smart TV run the same IPTV player?

No. Availability depends on the TV platform, model, country and publisher. Check the official app store first. If the required app is unavailable, compare external TV boxes and verify their own compatibility.
