Firestick vs Smart TV vs phone: which WorldIPTV setup fits

Decide Firestick, Smart TV, or phone for daily WorldIPTV using the compare device field, then price 1, 2, or 3 screens from published multipliers.

The screen you watch on most evenings is a different choice from how many screens play at once. This guide maps the four Main device chips on the comparison calculator — Firestick, Smart TV, Phone, and Other — onto daily watching, then prices 1, 2, and 3 simultaneous screens from the open dataset. Player roundups already exist for Firestick, smart TV apps, Android, and iPhone and iPad.

What the compare device field is for

On /compare, two controls get mixed up.

Main device is Firestick, Smart TV, Phone, or Other. Set it to the screen you sit in front of on a normal night. That chip describes the setup. It does not change the published plan price.

Simultaneous screens is 1, 2, or 3. That control does change the total. Multipliers in the open dataset dated 2026-10-05 are 1 screen ×1, 2 screens ×1.4, and 3 screens ×1.75. The file is on /open-data and in /data/plans.json. /pricing applies those multipliers to the site matrix. If a quote disagrees with the file, use the file.

You can install a player on more devices than you pay to stream at once. A 1-screen plan can sit on a Firestick and a phone. Only one of them can play at the same time.

Firestick, Smart TV, phone, or Other

Firestick is the living-room default: HDMI, a familiar remote, and enough for live TV when that room's Wi-Fi holds. Storage fills up, and Ethernet needs an adapter. It suits one main TV or a bedroom set. Setup is the Firestick install guide. A stick-only house is 1 screen unless another room plays at the same time.

Smart TV means the set's own apps. Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) install from their stores; if a listing vanishes, add a stick. Sony, TCL, Hisense, and many Philips sets run Android TV or Google TV and use Google Play. See the Samsung and LG guide. A Fire TV Edition panel acts like a Firestick. One set is 1 screen. Two sets on together is 2.

Phone fits a kitchen, a hotel, a commute, or the extra family stream. It is a weak primary for a long match. iPhone and iPad stay in the App Store; Android phones use Play (iPhone and iPad apps, Android players). Mirroring the TV does not need another paid screen. A different channel, while the TV plays, does.

Other is Apple TV or a certified Android box. Apple TV does not sideload; the 4K model can use Ethernet (Apple TV setup). A Shield or Chromecast with Google TV is the box case for Play apps or a wired port (box vs Firestick). Generic no-name boxes are not the default. Other uses the same multipliers.

What 1, 2, and 3 screens cost

Figures are the 2026-10-05 matrix in /data/plans.json: 1 month USD 12, 3 months USD 25, 6 months USD 35 (popular), 12 months USD 65 (best value), plus EUR, GBP, CAD, and AUD. Totals are the base times the multiplier, rounded to the cent as on /pricing. Monthly is that total divided by the months.

Which pairing to enter

  1. One TV. Firestick or Smart TV, 1 screen. Twelve months is $5.42/mo. Six months, the popular plan, is $5.83/mo on 1 screen.
  2. TV plus a phone or a second set that is actually on. 2 screens (×1.4). Twelve months is $91 ($7.58/mo). Set Main device to the screen you use more.
  3. Two rooms plus a handheld, at the same time. 3 screens (×1.75). Twelve months is $113.75 ($9.48/mo). Skip this if the extras only start after the first TV goes off.
  4. Apple TV or a certified box alone. Other and 1 screen, unless someone else streams too. A phone on the road is still 1 screen until the TV at home plays at the same time.

On /compare, pick USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, or AUD, then match the row on /pricing. Rankings follow sport, 4K, budget, screens, and term. Subscribers stay responsible for local law. Plans include the 7-day money-back window on the pricing matrix.

No. Main device on /compare records how you watch. Price moves with screens: ×1, ×1.4, or ×1.75 on /open-data. Confirm on /pricing.
How is 12 months with 3 screens calculated?
The USD base is $65. Times 1.75 is $113.75 for the year, or $9.48 a month. Two screens are $91 ($7.58/mo). One screen stays $65 ($5.42/mo). EUR, GBP, CAD, and AUD use the same multipliers in /data/plans.json.
