IPTV vs Live-TV Bundles: US and Canada Checklist
Compare IPTV with a US or Canada live-TV streaming bundle by the checks that matter: channels you watch, devices, screens, contract terms, and trial or refund policy.

A household in the United States or Canada that already pays for a live-TV streaming bundle can compare it with an IPTV plan without guessing anyone else's price. This checklist uses five checks: the channels you actually open, the devices already in the house, how many screens play at once, the contract and renewal terms, and the trial or refund. WorldIPTV figures below are the published list. The live-TV bundle column stays blank until you copy it from that company's own plan page, or from the statement you already pay.
The same five checks work on either side of the border. Currency is the part that changes: US dollars on the USA page, Canadian dollars on the Canada page. Plan length and screen count sit on compare and pricing.
Subscribers are responsible for complying with the laws where they live. WorldIPTV distributes content under its own service terms. A short overview is in Is IPTV legal?.
Channels you actually watch
Write the names you opened in the last month. Keep the list short: local stations, the sports you follow, a news channel, and a French-language channel if someone in the house uses one. Ten honest names beat a brochure of hundreds.
On the live-TV bundle, open the channel list for your ZIP code or postal code and tick those names. Promos and out-of-market sports windows move, so the page tied to your address is the one that counts. Leave any missing name on the list. That gap is the reason to keep the bundle, or to test whether another service shows it.
On the IPTV side, start from the published notes in the IPTV USA guide, the IPTV Canada guide, and the French and English Canada lineup. The terms describe the channel line-up as indicative, and they say it can change as broadcasters and availability change. A 24-hour trial is how you see whether your ten names open on your connection. Local call letters are their own check, covered in How to watch local channels without cable.
Every WorldIPTV plan includes the countries in the package. There is no separate US add-on or Canada add-on on the price list. The site describes the service as 20,000+ live channels from 60+ countries and 80,000+ movies and series, with an electronic programme guide and 7-day catch-up on the main channels of each country.
Devices already in the house
On the bundle's help page, note each screen you own: the living-room television, a streaming stick, a phone, a tablet, a computer. Write down whether that model has an app in its store, or whether the company only offers casting or a browser. A device that is missing from the list is a real cost, because the next step is often a new stick.
WorldIPTV's install guides cover the hardware the site documents: Fire TV, Android phones, tablets and Android TV, Samsung and LG smart TVs, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, and Windows. The FAQ also names Fire TV Cube and macOS. You can install on as many of those devices as you like. How many of them can play at the same time is the next check, and it is a plan setting, not a device setting.
Published guidance for the connection is 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K per screen, with Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi recommended. Run that test on the television you will keep, at the hour you usually watch.
Simultaneous screens
Count rooms that are on together. A phone that stays in a pocket while the television plays is one screen. A game in the living room and a cartoon in a bedroom are two. Ask the live-TV bundle for its simultaneous-stream limit, and ask whether an extra stream is included or sold as an add-on. Copy the answer from the current plan page. A forum post from last season is a poor source.
WorldIPTV plans stop at three simultaneous streams. The terms allow the login on many devices and limit playback to the screens in the plan. Two screens multiply the list price by 1.4. Three multiply it by 1.75. Sharing or reselling the login is prohibited. The compare page scores one, two, and three screens against the plan length you are considering.
Contract, renewal, and leaving
Read the bundle's checkout before you treat a monthly price as the whole story. Write four lines in your own words: the term (month-to-month or a longer commitment), whether the plan renews by itself, how you cancel, and whether a box must go back. If an early-exit fee or a broadcast surcharge appears, copy that line from the same page. This article does not supply those figures.
WorldIPTV's terms say subscriptions do not renew automatically. A reminder goes out before expiry, and you decide whether to continue. The price paid at purchase is the renewal price while the subscription stays active. There is no rented set-top box in the plan. The FAQ says you can upgrade later, and that the remaining value of the current plan is credited toward the new one.
Trial and refund
On the live-TV bundle, note three facts from its own terms: whether a trial needs a card, how long the trial lasts, and the address or button used for a refund. If the page is silent, treat silence as part of the comparison.
WorldIPTV's trial is 24 hours, limited to one per household and per email address, and it requires no payment method. The terms say trials can be refused or ended when abuse is detected. Request it from the free trial page and watch the channels you wrote down, on the device you will keep.
Every paid plan has a 7-day money-back guarantee from activation, for any plan length and any screen count. The refund policy asks you to email support@worldiptv1.com from the purchase address, subject "Refund", inside that window. The full amount returns to the original payment method. Card timing is described as 5 to 10 business days, depending on the bank. Requests after seven days are handled case by case. Credential sharing sits outside the guarantee.
WorldIPTV list prices, and a blank for the bundle
These are the one-screen prices in the site plan data. Six months is marked popular. Twelve months is marked best value. You pay the prepaid total. The "per month" column is that total divided by the number of months, rounded to the cent the way the site calculator does.
| Plan | USD total | USD per month | CAD total | CAD per month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 month | $12 | $12 | C$16 | C$16 |
| 3 months | $25 | $8.33 | C$34 | C$11.33 |
| 6 months | $35 | $5.83 | C$48 | C$8 |
| 12 months | $65 | $5.42 | C$89 | C$7.42 |
A 12-month plan on two screens is $65 × 1.4 = $91, or C$89 × 1.4 = C$124.60. On three screens it is $65 × 1.75 = $113.75, or C$89 × 1.75 = C$155.75. EUR, GBP, and AUD, and the rest of the screen matrix, are on pricing.
Add a column for the live-TV bundle only after you have the number from your statement or from that company's current checkout, including add-ons and tax. This page leaves that cell empty on purpose. A separate feature comparison, with typical household ranges rather than your bill, is IPTV vs cable vs streaming. Cited US list prices checked for a few named services in October 2026 are in Disney+ and Hulu live-TV costs. Canadian bundle prices are not in that article, and they are not invented here.
If the channels you listed open during the trial, on a device you already own, the next decision is duration and screens on compare. If a local station or a league window stays missing, keep the service that carries it.
