How to Watch the Canucks in Vancouver: Sportsnet Pacific
A Vancouver guide to 2026-27 Canucks broadcasts: Sportsnet Pacific, national nights, Sportsnet+ only games, PT start times and what a regional restriction means.
By WorldIPTV Editorial Team7 min read
In Vancouver, the Canucks' regional games are on Sportsnet Pacific, and all of Sportsnet's Canucks games are also on Sportsnet+, according to Sportsnet's own 2026-27 schedule. You can watch through a TV provider that carries Sportsnet Pacific or by streaming on Sportsnet+. A few games are tagged Sportsnet+ only, and Wednesday national games are on Prime Video, not Sportsnet. Because regional rights follow your location, use the Sportsnet+ Game Finder with your location before you pay for anything.
This is a Vancouver-specific page. The league-wide picture is in the 2026-27 NHL season guide.
The short answer
- Regional Canucks games are on Sportsnet Pacific, which you can watch through a TV provider or on Sportsnet+.
- National Saturday games are on Sportsnet, starting 3 October.
- Monday Night Hockey streams only on Sportsnet+, starting 5 October. Games that night are at 7:30 p.m. ET.
- Wednesday games are on Prime Video only.
- Use the Game Finder at the Sportsnet+ site with your location to see what is available to you.
How Sportsnet tags Canucks games
Sportsnet published its full 2026-27 Canucks broadcast schedule on 17 September 2026. Every game carries a tag: Sportsnet, Sportsnet Pacific, Sportsnet+, or a combination. All start times are given in PT and ET. A sample from that schedule:
| Date | Game | Start | Tag |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saturday 3 October | Calgary at Vancouver | 7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. ET | Sportsnet |
| Sunday 4 October | Vegas at Vancouver | 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET | Sportsnet Pacific |
| Thursday 8 October | Vancouver at Carolina | 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET | Sportsnet Pacific |
| Saturday 31 October | Toronto at Vancouver | 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET | Sportsnet |
| Monday 9 November | Philadelphia at Vancouver | To be confirmed | Sportsnet+ only |
Sportsnet states that all games on its Canucks list are on Sportsnet+. The Sportsnet tag marks a national window, and Sportsnet Pacific marks the regional channel. A game tagged Sportsnet+ only does not have a Sportsnet channel listing in that schedule.
For 31 October (Toronto at Vancouver), this page lists Sportsnet, not Sportsnet Pacific. That tag is to be confirmed. Check the regional channel in the guide before you count on it. On 9 November the Canucks page lists 7 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET, while Monday Night Hockey is also given as 9:30 p.m. ET. Those listings do not match, so that start time is to be confirmed.
What "regional" means when you live in Vancouver
Sportsnet+ support explains that every NHL team has a designated broadcast region, and that only viewers who live in that region can watch its regionally broadcast games on the local channel or streamer. It adds that restrictions are applied using your location at the time of the game, through your IP address or your TV subscription address, and that they are not based on your billing address or on whether the team is at home or on the road.
- If you live in the Canucks' region, the regional games are meant for you.
- Sportsnet says Sportsnet is the regional rights holder for the Canucks, Flames, Oilers and Leafs. To watch those regional games without restrictions, you must live in the team's local broadcast territory.
- Where the region's edges run is for Sportsnet's Game Finder to tell you. If you live outside Vancouver itself, including elsewhere in British Columbia, enter your location and read the result instead of assuming.
- If you live outside the region, Sportsnet points to Sportsnet+ Premium or NHL Centre Ice for out-of-market games.
Reading the clock
Canucks home games are commonly listed at 7 p.m. PT. Do not convert that start to 10 p.m. ET on your own. The 9 November start is to be confirmed: the Canucks page lists 7 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET, and Monday Night Hockey is also given as 9:30 p.m. ET. Games on 5 October, the first Monday Night Hockey date, are at 7:30 p.m. ET. Other sample rows above print a three-hour gap, such as 7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. ET on 3 October, so use the Eastern time printed for the date. Road games in the East often begin at 4 p.m. PT or earlier, and some weekend games start in the afternoon PT, such as 12:30 p.m. PT for the 10 October game in New Jersey. If you use a device with its own guide, set the guide to America/Vancouver so the schedule lines up with your wall clock. If relatives watch in Ontario or Quebec, give them the Eastern time on that night's listing, not a flat 7 p.m. PT equals 10 p.m. ET rule.
Other ways to watch Sportsnet
Sportsnet support says the Sportsnet Prime Video Channel lets Prime members add the live feeds of Sportsnet East, West, Ontario and Pacific, plus Sportsnet ONE and Sportsnet 360, inside Prime Video. The same page says regional restrictions still apply to that channel. We have not copied prices because they change, so check them with Sportsnet or Amazon before you choose.
A quick planning routine for the season
- Open the Game Finder and enter your location.
- Look up your next three Canucks games and write down the tag for each.
- Note that Wednesday games are on Prime Video only.
- Check that the service you pay for carries Sportsnet Pacific or Sportsnet+.
- Re-check a week later, because schedules and tags can change.
Where IPTV fits
A licensed IPTV service can put Sportsnet and other Canadian channels in one guide, on one login. That is a convenience for some households. It does not change which games are available in your region, and it is not a blackout tool. Use only services authorized to carry these channels in Canada, and be careful with any provider that will not tell you where its rights come from. Subscribers are responsible for complying with local laws; WorldIPTV distributes content under its own service terms.
To see whether Sportsnet channels appear in a guide and whether the picture holds on your home network, ask for the 24-hour free trial and name your city, province and device. A trial cannot tell you which regional rights apply to your address. Plan prices in Canadian dollars are on the pricing page, the Canada page describes the channel groups, and the Firestick install guide covers Fire TV setup. If video freezes at a period break, see the buffering checklist.
